Doris Randant, 90, was born in Troy, II, to Hilon and Irene Rood. She was one of 6 children. She died of natural causes on March 23, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Lafayette Randant in Dec 2015. Doris is survived by sons Gary (Paula, nee Peyton) and Ken , grandchildren Kimberly Murray (John), Gary Jr (Deana, nee Homrighausen) and great grandsons Jakob Lafayette Murray, Sam Murray and Nicholas and Matthew Randant.
Doris worked for J.C. Penny as a bookkeeper in the Retail Credit office in Denver, CO for over 20 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved celebrating life with family and friends.
Visitation is on Monday, March 28 from 4:00 PM until Memorial Services 7:00 PM at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Hwy), Mount Prospect.
